MidChains backs up private keys in an offline air-gapped machine setup with a specific software operating system. The offline air-gapped machine is isolated from the internet and authorized personnel are granted permission based access.
An additional security feature in our Custody Service that allows virtual asset withdrawals to be transferred to addresses (external) already added to our Custody’s whitelisted addresses.
The key shares are stored across servers in several separated physical locations, backed up, encrypted and updated daily
